Were Moving

Moving day was bitter sweet... lots of goodbyes to all those that we love so much! But we will see you all at Christmas... or maybe sooner.

You will see there are no pictures of Wyoming because Garfield the Cat said "Wyoming means there is nothing here." And really there is not much of anything there.
Crossing the Mississippi

This is exactly how we felt in Nebraska.
It wasn't to bad of a drive, but we were glad when we reached Nauvoo.

Castledale Pageant

We had a great time going as a family (except for Jake) to the Castledale Pageant this year. I developed a real appreciation for those earlier pioneers and the sacrifice that they made to follow through with what was asked of them, whatever that may be.

While waiting for the pageant to start we enjoyed some funny face time. Brian I think these are all candidates for the "Funny Faces" movie.
I am so grateful to have such an awesome family. We have so much fun together. Thanks Dad for taking us to the pageant it was really special to be able to go with all of you.

Time to PARTY!

We had a great party to celebrate Jake Graduating, since he did not walk. Which in the end everyone was grateful that they did not have to make the drive to Idaho to see him walk across a stage. But to appease all my Dad came up with the great idea that we should have a "mini" graduation ceremony for him. Jake was a good sport and participated.

Before
High School Graduation 2000
After
Masters Degree Graduation 2010
Not much has changed...

We were so Grateful to all our Family who supported us through school and celebrated with in us in the end.
Jake & Luke have a special bond... they love to play copy cat games.
To our families and friends we love and appreciate ALL of you so very much. You all hold a very special place in our hearts. We think of you often and you are always in our prayers. I know that we would have never made it through these last 2 years had it not been for the unfailing love and support that each of you provide.

Before we Moved...

We took every opportunity to spend time with family and friends. Granted that most of those opportunities for Jake were in the form of playing golf... but whatever.

Sarah Washing the Dog

Spent time with my Sisters and Mom!

Brian & Hillary were so nice to gift Jake 2 tickets to the BYU vs Washington Game for his Graduation Gift. And Jake was nice was enough to take me with him.
We had so much fun!
Katie FINALLY FINISHED her quilt

Kayla and I had a great time hiking to the "Y", it was early but totally worth it. I love Kayla so much and I am going to miss not seeing her everyday.

Monsivais Family Reunion 2010

We had a great family reunion, thanks to all those who put in so much hardwork to make it all work out. Enjoy the pictures... we had an updated family photo taken, and we had so much fun on the water slide that we all pitched in to rent. It was a BLAST!

Had to include a picture of Josh's cute/funny outfit, he is such a character.

Time for another update...

(Thanks for picture Heidi)
Jake & I ran in the 4th of July Freedom Run. It was our first 5K, and it was so much fun! Jake wanted to me to let you all know that he had a difficult time running because before the run started he was experiencing a few bowel problems... so he wasn't really sure if he was running the race or running to the nearest "Honey Bucket." Anyways, he had a great run and came in just over 21:00:00 minutes. The reason for the slow run was because it took more energy to avoid a catastrophe during the race than to actually run the race. It was a BLAST to be there together... even though we didn't run together and Jake wasn't there to cheer me on at the end. He was a little busy in the Bathroom. Oh well, maybe next year he can be the supportive husband!

j/k I love Jake!
