After graduation we are going to work on a championship (Rare post by Jacob)

I know that many of you have taken note of how well Jen has been doing with her biggest loser challenge. She has really dedicated herself to the challenge, and has promised herself that she will continue to stay in shape and make healthy choices. I have decided that I need to make sure that I am more supportive of my wife and her desires and drive to live a healthy life. In order to help Jen out I figured that we would need a goal to work towards, thus satisfying Jens desire to stay fit and healthy and my competitive drive to win something. This lead to setting a goal on a championship that Jen and I could win together.

Information and video of our events can be found at

Of course we won't take the beer, but the Championship and twig we are keeping

Jen you are looking great, I am proud of you. Keep up the good work and I know we can bring the championship home.

Rachel this post is for you...

because you say that I never post anything. Which is absolutely TRUE! Maybe we are just boring, or maybe to busy, i am not really sure, I am pretty sure that you will go with boring because there is a limited amount of pictures on this post. And by limited I mean none. So sorry about that, I will try harder next time.

Anyways, we had a wonderful dinner with friends last night and I just wanted to mention how grateful I am for good friends that keep me motivated and inspire me to do new things. (That is you Rachel and Leslie) . I am so grateful for the laughs we get to share as we watch our ridiculous husbands turn into teenagers again whenever they are together. I am so grateful for the true friendships that I have found in the wives of ALL the boys. You ladies are great, and I hope that the coming years bring many opportunities for us to get together, learn from one another, strengthen each other.... I love you girls!

Other than spending time with fabulous friends we have just been working hard... Jake will be done in Idaho in about 3 months! YAY! He will then start a year of clinical rotations and then be Finished! Hopefully, this next year will go as fast as this last year.

Well there it is I posted a little something for you all to read... enjoy!

Well a lot of new changes are going in our lives. Jake is still doing great at ISU, and he is loving every second of it… well as much as one can love going to school. Anyways, I wasn’t able to find a job in Pocatello, ID that fit our needs so I moved back to Provo and am now working 2 jobs like a crazy person. But everything is going great and I get to see Jake every weekend, so far, and we have a lot of fun playing and relaxing on the weekends so I think it is really good for him to study really hard all week and then get to just play and relax on the weekend. Anyways, I am still up for photo sessions if anyone who reads this is interested. Following I figured I would just post some pictures of what we have been up to lately.

First: Our drive to Idaho and my siblings going ice blocking on the hill across from our apartment.

Lots of Open Fields with Cows
It may only be a 3 and half hour ride... but there is a lot of open road

Tom having fun Ice blocking!

Team Work!

Sarah is just having a BLAST!
Ready? Set. GO!
Even Jake got in on the fun... but only because we brought out the Football
Second: HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!

Third: We had family pictures done... It was really COLD but we had fun!

Fourth: Family Halloween Party... Jake and Riley dressed up as Paulsen Pest Control it was hilarious!

Well that is really all that is new right now... my birthday is this Friday the 31st of October... thats right folks Halloween!! So that should be fun! I will try and update again soon... bye!

Are you Hiring?

Calling for all businesses in Pocatello, ID I am ready and available for any type of legal work that preferably occurs during the day and with Sundays off. Any takers?

Anyways, still no pictures because well my computer after several diagnostic procedures has moved on, it has been a hard adjustment… but we did share four really great years together so I cannot complain. And to no avail Jakes laptop is not interested in hooking up with my external hard drive where all of my pictures reside… so we will all just have to continue to be patient, but don't worry you are not missing out on to much here. I am in the process of making arrangements to adopt a new laptop that will hopefully see me through to the end of my Idaho experience.

Finally the BIG
announcement of the night, I am going to pursue work in my own business of

JEMTEKS photography, where we offer the following services:

Photography – fairly self explanatory and you can view many examples of my work on this blog.

Photo Preservation – taking your photos and scanning and organizing them onto a CD for your convenient use and distribution.

Life History Recording – Over the course of several sessions I would record and provide a DVD copy of your Life History.

So if you are interested in any of these fantastic offerings please contact me by phone, if you have it, or by email at jennykpm@gmail.com, I would be happy to answer any of your questions.

Good Ol’ IDAHO

Well it is official we are here, and no we are not changing our license plate. I haven't been able to blog for awhile, because upon arrival my computer decided it just wanted to go back home to Utah, and die… and since I am not a big fan of PC computers I have resisted using Jake's computer for anything besides checking a few things online. But since my computer will not be coming back I guess I will have to try and make this whole PC thing work. So wish me LUCK, I am going to need it!

Idaho is great, Jake is enjoying his classes (well as much as he can for being one who detests sitting behind a desk all day) but he is adjusting well, and compensates by playing: basketball, racquetball, tennis, bowling, and going swimming during his lunch breaks.

Overall it has been great, and tonight I was privileged to use an ophthalmoscope (translation: ear scope) to look inside Jake's ears, it was super cool; I was able to see his tympanic membrane.

Anyways it is getting late, and even though I have nothing pressing that I have to do tomorrow, my eyes are getting tired and I am ready to go to bed… so until next time!
